Know the lubricator

Write the lubricator weight and length before the crane picks it up. The sheave and the line path stay clear of the lift. Slings and shackles are rated and inspected for this pick. Do not use a sling because it is the one closest to your hand.

Exclusión and the fall path

Set the exclusion zone before the load leaves the ground or the rack. Nobody stands where the lubricator or a mast would fall. The unit ground stays connected when the job plan says it must. One signal person is named, and that person can be seen by the operator.
